The objective of nextMEDIA is to enhance the coordination of the efforts in Europe towards producing a clear situation of the Future Media Internet, create common pillars (e.g. the Future Media Internet reference architecture for Europe) and support the results of the developments of the European projects.

Co-located with the 2010 NEM Summit, the 3rd meeting of Networked Media Open Forum will be held on October 14,2010. The objective of this Forum is to extend the participation in the overall R&D activities within the Networked Media field, to all those experts who belong to different constituencies and who may express opinions and views based on their individual knowledge.
