3DLife EU Network of Excellence (NoE) project will be organising its workshop during the 2010 NEM Summit: stay tuned, more information will be available in the coming weeks.

3DLife will integrate leading European research groups to create a long-term integration of critical mass for innovation of currently fragmented research addressing media internet. The main objectives of the NoE are:

• To foster the creation of sustainable and long-term relationships between existing national research groups and to start development of a Virtual Centre of Excellence in the field.
• To create sufficient momentum by integrating an existing large number of researchers and resources and to push forward new paradigms to enable realistic, efficient, effective and to some extent autonomic media communication and interaction over the Internet.
• To influence the long-term European and world research agenda in several key aspects of Media Internet.

3DLife Workshop at 2010 NEM Summit is a key event designed to provide a forum for interactive discussion between 3DLife researchers and other participants in NEM Summit 2010. The latest technologies in 3DLife will be presented, and ideas and innovations will be exchanged.
